A Greater Quarter Results - Tambun Indah

Being an avid follower on property counters, I believe many would know several small cap companies that have been hitting the limelight for the past months such as Matrix Concept, Tambun Indah, Huayang, Glomac, PJDev and OSK Prop.

TI (Tambun Indah) is a Malaysia-based investment holding company that specializes on property development that mainly focuses on property construction in Penang mainland. Despite the ubiquitous of newly launched property in Penang city, TI came out of the norm and decided to focus on cheaper lands in Penang mainland. This provides TI a more competitive pricing edge and better business opportunity compared to other Penang property developers. Their main profit driver is still currently the Pearl City Business Park.

Above is the latest quarter report (Q2) released on 19th August 2014. Revenue grew 54.9% QoQ while profit attributable to ordinary equity holders went up to 81% QoQ. Growth trend remains strong with no sign of property slowdown.

Likewise, TI has recently declared a single tier final dividend of 4.6 sen which translates to 1.91% dividend yield for FY14. If we follow the same pattern last year and aim for a conservative interim payout of 2 sen, this will add up to 2.75% based on current price of RM2.40.

I've bought TI with higher anticipation for a breakout as it try to breach the 1st resistance line of RM2.51 underpin by strong fundamental stock and good prospect for property sector.
