In the world of investing, we need to understand that nothing is fool-proof. There is no holy grail in beating the stock market. Complicated analysis models and research reports shared by analysts can be overwhelming and may prove to be the right thing to follow.
But it's not. It is imperative for us to take a step back and review the information presented instead of solely processing it when we're performing our decision making. That said, I've hosted a personal website with the following reasons:
- It allows us to reinforce our conviction of our investment proposition.
- It will serve as an archive which will contain various trading strategies used throughout my investment journey.
- To document investment lessons and mistakes. Painful lessons during our investment journey can be devastating at first but we tend to forget it once euphoria comes in.
